ABOUT THIS TEA
Oriental Beauty, also known as Dongfang Meiren, is a Taiwanese oolong celebrated for its naturally honeyed, muscat-like aroma and soft sweetness. Its distinctive character is traditionally associated with tea leaves affected by small tea jassids before harvest.
Careful oxidation develops those aromas into a layered cup of honey, ripe fruit, and delicate florals. Rather than tasting heavily roasted or grassy, Oriental Beauty offers a rounder, softer expression with a smooth texture and lingering finish.
It is a tea that rewards more than one infusion. As the leaves open, the cup moves from brighter floral notes toward deeper honeyed and fruit-like tones, revealing a little more with each steep.

FOR ORIENTAL BEAUTY OOLONG
Oolong teas should be steeped for 2-3 minutes at a temperature of 200°F or 93°C.
Unlike other teas, oolong tea can be re-steeped to make multiple cups. With each re-steep, different flavour characteristics emerge that alter the teas natural palate, creating a new tasting experience for you to enjoy.
For oolong tea, we recommend 3–4 grams per cup (about 1 teaspoon).
For a stronger flavor, you may increase slightly to 5-6 grams.
