THE TEA
Our teas are not organic-certified, and this is a deliberate choice.
Most of our growers are small family farms in remote mountain regions, where the tea is cultivated using traditional, low-intervention methods with no harmful chemical treatments.
Organic certification is often expensive and difficult for small producers to maintain, but the absence of a certificate does not indicate lower quality.
In China’s high-end tea market, both farmers and buyers prioritize clean-growing practices, natural environments, and strict local inspections.
All Lanstea teas come from regions with:
- Minimal human activity and pollution
- High-elevation water sources
- Traditional cultivation with no chemical input
- Local inspection standards that are often stricter than Western markets
We maintain close, direct relationships with our partner farmers and confirm their farming practices personally.
This allows us to offer clean, naturally grown teas without imposing the financial burden of certification on smallholders.
Our priority is simple:
safe, naturally grown tea—clean in taste, clean in origin.
Keep the tea away from direct heat and sun, best kept in a cool location.
Our teas come in an eco-friendly paper canister—simply close the lid tightly after each use to preserve aroma and freshness.
When stored properly, opened tea can maintain excellent quality for at least one year.
Unopened canisters can be stored for up to three years without issue.
Yes. All of our teas naturally contain caffeine, though the level varies by tea type and processing method.
If you prefer high caffeine, choose:
- Red tea (black tea)
- Matcha
If you prefer medium caffeine, choose:
- Green tea
- White tea
If you prefer low caffeine, choose:
- Pu’er
- Oolong(as their fermentation and oxidation processes generally reduce caffeine intensity)
For the gentlest option, cold-brewing any tea will naturally extract less caffeine and produce a smoother, softer cup.
Yes. Our teas are beginner-friendly — naturally smooth and easy to enjoy.
We encourage a free, relaxed brewing style. No special teaware is required.
Start with 2–4g of tea and adjust as you like.
